Use the
dump(CP)
command to look at the section headers for the file:
dump -hv a.out
If the file has a .lib section, a shared library is needed. If the a.out does not have a .lib section, it does not use shared libraries.
To display the shared libraries used by a.out, use the
-L option as shown in the following example:
dump -L a.out
