The issue file (/etc/issue) contains the issue
or project identification to be printed as a login prompt. This is an
ASCII file which is read by the getty program
and then written to any terminal spawned or respawned
from the /etc/inittab file.
getty does the same with the default system issue in
/etc/default/issue.
