track --
test the operation of the SAP daemon
Syntax
track [ on | off | tables ]
Description
track tests the operation of the Service
Advertising Protocol (SAP) daemon.
The options are interpreted as follows:
on-
start listing SAP traffic to the output file
specified in /etc/ipx.d/NPSConfig as
the sap_track_out parameter. By default, this is
set to /dev/console.
off-
stop the listing of SAP traffic.
tables-
dump the contents of the Server Information table to
/etc/ipx.d/sapd.out.
Administrative privileges are required to run track.
