Configuring a hard disk

Appendix B

Configuring a hard disk

During the SCO OpenServer installation, the Customize and Interactive fdisk/divvy disk setup options allow you to manually create partitions and divisions on your hard disk. All of the disk setup options allow you to run bad tracking to check for defects on your hard disk.

This appendix provides more information on the utilities that are run during the disk setup stage of the SCO OpenServer installation: fdisk, badtrk, and divvy.
