Configuring default font size and resolutions
You can change the default point size of fonts
provided by the font server.
To do this, follow these steps:

Log in as root.

Edit the font server configuration file.
By default this is /usr/lib/X11/fs/config.

To change the default point size, edit the value
of the keyword default-point-size.
For example, to make the default point size
12pts, change the keyword line to this:
default-point-size = 120
You can only specify one default point size.

To change the default resolutions, change the
default-resolutions keyword.
For example, to specify resolutions of 75 dpi only,
change the keyword to this:
default-resolutions = 75,75
To specify multiple resolutions, specify the resolution
you want, each separated by a comma.

To make the changes take effect, run the
fontserv command:
fontserv re-read
fontserv flush
