Fonts are X resources and, as such, can be changed like any other resource. You have a great deal of control over the fonts that are used on your system. For example, you can change the size of the icon label font, change the font for one client but not for others, and so forth. Before you actually make any font resource changes, however, you should be familiar with the information in ``Understanding resources''.
As with other resources, you can make font resource changes on a system-wide level or on a user-level. You can also specify font changes at the command line, affecting a client on a per-session basis.
