Switching between operating systems

There are three ways to switch between operating system partitions:

Boot a specific partition using the bootos(HW) command at the boot prompt.
Use fdisk to change the current active partition.
Use a floppy disk that contains the files necessary to boot the Windows or DOS operating system.

When you use the boot prompt or a floppy disk to boot another operating system, your SCO OpenServer partition remains active even though you have switched operating systems. When you use fdisk, your SCO OpenServer partition is inactive until you switch back to it.
