Network number
The ``network number'',
entered in hexadecimal format,
is a unique number identifying a single LAN
segment;
every node on the same LAN segment
must have the same network number.
If the SCO system is acting as a router,
that is, it is connected to more than one network segment,
each connected network segment must be assigned the
correct unique network number.
You may want to change this parameter if there is a conflict
between network numbers or if the numbering conventions change.
