Problems removing ghost icons

Ghost icons only appear on desktops. They are displayed in these situations:

• You select a file icon, and then place it onto a desktop by selecting Get Out from the Edit menu. A ghost icon for that file replaces its picture if you or another user subsequently remove, move, or rename it.

• You accidentally enter a non-existent filename into the ``Get out'' field. A ghost icon results from that error.
