Select Stats from the Option menu to display the filename, access permissions, owner, cursor position, file length, and date and time that the file was last saved.
You also can check the bottom part of the window, known as the status
line, to see the cursor's current position. If you are working on
a read-only file, Read Only appears in the center of the
status line.
