To start Paint, double-click on the Paint icon in the Accessories window.
If your system supports 256 colors, you see two windows when you invoke Paint: the drawing window and the Color Palette window. If your system does not support 256 colors, Paint works in monochrome mode and you see only the drawing window.
To exit your current painting, select Exit from the File menu. Exit only exits your current painting. If you have more than one painting open, Paint continues running until you close all of your paintings.
