The sfsys file contains local system information about each
file system type specified in the mfsys file.
It is present in the directory /etc/conf/cf.d, and contains a
one-line entry for each file system type specified in the mfsys file.
The sfsys file is coalesced from
component files in the directory /etc/conf/sfsys.d.
Each line in this file is a whitespace-separated set of fields that specifies:
name:
This field contains the internal name of the filesystem
type (for example, DUFST, S51K).
By convention, this name is up to 32 characters long, and is composed of all
uppercase alphanumeric characters.
Y/N:
This field contains either an uppercase ``Y'' (for ``yes'')
or an uppercase ``N'' (for ``no'') to indicate whether the named file system
type is to be configured into the next system kernel to be built.
