ipx --
start, stop, or restart the IPX/SPX protocols and the NVT server
Syntax
ipx [ stop | start | restart ]
Description
ipx starts, stops or restarts the
IPX/SPX protocols and the NVT
server. The IPX/SPX protocol and the
NVT server are started automatically when the
system enters multiuser mode if /etc/ipx is
linked to /etc/rc2.d/Sname; see
rc2(ADM)
and
tcp(ADMN)
for details.
The options are interpreted as follows:
stop-
stop the IPX/SPX protocol and the
NVT server
start-
start the IPX/SPX protocol and the
NVT server
restart-
stop, then restart the IPX/SPX
protocol and the NVT server
Administrative privileges are required to run ipx.
